We were going to get tickets for that game at the start of the season, decided to wait thinking the prices would drop when Vegas wasn't good.
Well, that backfired!
Maybe next year. |

Blues have done a great job of pulling themselves together and deciding they want make the playoffs regardless of who they have in the lineup on a given night.
They deserve a ton of credit. |

They keep finding ways to win and you cannot really complain about that. |

Kinda makes you laugh about how bad the hockeybuzz hotstove writing can be. Typically I never notice how off base and cliche it is until it's about a team I follow. |

My son and I hit up the hawks game in Vegas last month. Had a hell of a time. Nashville is fun, but Vegas is over the top. And we won money and paid for the trip. I recommend you guys get your asses out there for a game. |

Ric Flair entered the ice through the penalty box and shot the puck between the 2nd & 3rd periods at the UC years ago and all the guys in the box were doing the wooooo thing the rest of the game. Had trouble paying attention to the game. |

The last time I saw a game at the UC it was me and about a hundred other people wondering why there were more employees in attendance than people.
I'll have to check out Vegas for sure.

If the Blues can pull out some more wins this weekend they will be pretty much set to get into the dance.
A couple of weeks ago and it looked nearly impossible. |

Dallas has pretty much faded away, so it's basically now three teams for two spots.

Dallas was effectively done when they failed to get a point in the Bruins game imho. |

Sorry all. No time for a blog tonight.
Mitch Reinke in for the injured Jordan Schmaltz tonight. Chris Butler was recalled. Not sure if this was a coaches decision or if Butler is having travel issues getting to Arizona.
Jake Allen gets the start again. Is this because Allen has been playing well or if Hutton still isn't fully recovered.
Allen was not the problem last night. He got caught looking left to try and find the puck as the overtime shot went in to his right. He never saw it and even admitted so it the press conference.
The Blues did well against a fast team, playing most of the game with only 5 defensmen.
Kudos to Thorburn for getting his 1st goal. He has been playing well and getting chances and it was good to see him get one.
Blues are on pace for 98; Ducks for 97.8, Kings 97.6; and Avs 96.7.
Blues need to get these 2 points tonight.
Avs are hurting with Varlamov and Erik Johnson out for substantial time. |
